Overall, in February 2015, employed college graduates in the United States with a certification or license earned more than those without a credential beyond their highest college degree. Of the college-educated population, 39% held an active certification or license. Certifications and licenses among the college-educated population were most prevalent at the professional degree and master's degree levels.
