The 27 tables in this report present FY 2014 and FY 2015 data for the 50 states, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico on total R&D expenditures, intramural and extramural performers, source of funds, and type of R&D by state and department or agency. These data were collected by the Survey of State Government Research and Development, conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau for the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics within the National Science Foundation.
